AAnya Fuchs is a civil litigator with several decades of experience representing injured people and their families in both complex tort and mass tort litigations throughout the State of California. Anya is a Senior Partner with the Bullock Legal Group based in Georgia for whom she works primarily on mass torts, the “gateway” video game addiction litigation among them. Anya recently penned a Petition asking the Judicial Council of California to approve the pre-trial coordination of a growing group of video game addiction cases. That Petition (JCCP No. 5363) is anticipated to be heard before a Judge of the California Superior Court during the first quarter of 2025.

Anya continues to maintain a local practice in the East Bay of Northern California in Alameda County. She is dedicated to giving her clients great care and delivering only the best work product and representation.

Anya spent the first 20 years of her professional career working with and for some of California’s most prominent plaintiff’s firms—Kazan, McClain, Satterley & Greenwood, PLC; Paul & Hanley LLP; Rose Klein & Marias LLP; Maune, Raichle, Hartley French & Mudd, LLC; Gold Law Firm; Madeksho Law Firm; Weitz & Luxenberg; Law Offices of Trey Jones; The Farrise Firm; and Berglund & Johnson, among others.

Anya is currently on leadership, serving as Plaintiffs’ Co-Chair and Liaison Counsel in JCCP No. 5305 , a proceeding dedicated to the litigation of over one hundred cases pending in California State Court arising from injuries sustained from “Onewheel” electric skateboards. In addition to her State court appointments arising from this litigation, she has been appointed by a United States District Court Judge to serve on the Plaintiffs’ Leadership committee for the concurrently pending federal coordinated Onewheel proceeding(MDL 3087).

Throughout the over two decades of her legal career, Anya has earned a reputation as a highly skilled pre-trial, trial and appellate writing attorney. She remains devoted to high profile complex product and personal liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death cases. She takes pride in being part of the profoundly important impact legal writing has had in these litigations. Her writing efforts have produced a phenomenally successful body of work, with her appellate practice resulting in numerous published opinions which continue to serve the interests of injured people in this State.

Anya graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1997 from which she earned several Bachelor of Arts; she graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2001. In 2017, Anya returned to her alma mater as an Adjunct Professor teaching Legal Researching and Writing to first year law students. She continues to regularly guest lecture several times per year on the topic of Appellate Advocacy.

Anya was born and raised in Berkeley, California and comes from a long line of academics, educators, and writers. She currently lives in Oakland with her son and husband; if she is not spending time with her family, at the law library, or writing, she is likely taking her daily bike ride across the Bay Bridge.
